PRIVACY STATEMENT

VALSIR SpA guarantees a reliable and safe website in which to work with maximum tranquillity.

VALSIR SpA is committed to protecting your privacy and handles your personal data with the maximum transparency and in compliance with the Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, shown as follows:

”We wish to inform you of the observances specific to art. 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 for the protection of persons and other subjects regarding the handling of personal data. According to the law indicated the data will be:

  • handled in a legal and correct manner;
  • collected and registered for clear, unequivocal and legitimate purposes;
  • corrected and, if necessary, up-dated following notice given by you;
  • pertinent, complete and not excessive;
  • and therefore your privacy and rights are safeguarded. 

In compliance with art. 13 of the same law, we are, therefore, supplying you with the following information.

All personal data held in our possession is collected directly by us.

The data we collect is processed by computer or manually for the purposes of:

a)    meeting laws connected to civil, fiscal, administrative standards;to the administrative management of the relationship; realisation of a contract agreement; or meeting statutory or other legal requirements.
 b)    market analysis and statistics, marketing, information on future schemes and announcements concerning new services offered by us or by our own external consultants.

We may provide the personal data supplied by you or collected during the contractual relationship to the following subjects that carry out functions that are strictly connected to our own activity, functions that are therefore fundamental to the operation of our company:

a)      to financial administration offices and if necessary, to the Public Safety Authorities;

b)      companies operating in transportation business;

c)       to companies or professional bodies for the administration of fraud and liabilities;

d)      to banks and credit institutes in the field of company financial management;

e)      to insurance companies;

f)       to auditors and administration, fiscal and contractual consultants.

The personal data supplied by you could also be provided to other companies within our group for the coordination of management activities, also abroad, both within EC countries and non-EC countries.

Your data will not, at any rate, be diffused.

Please note that handling of your data for the purposes indicated in point a) is obligatory and essential in order to conduct business with you, whereas it is not compulsory for the purposes indicated in point b), and therefore, should you refuse to supply data there will be no consequences apart from our inability to ensure you are informed on developments regarding our company.

We ensure you that the handling of your data, with or without the aid of electronic or automated means, is secured by means of instruments that guarantee safety and discretion. This may include one or more of the following operations: collection, registration, organisation, conservation, processing, modification, extraction, comparison, utilisation, inter-connection, blockage, communication, cancellation, destruction.

The owner of the data handling is VALSIR SPA, located in Vestone (BS), Località Merlaro, 2, that will use them for the purposes as shown above. The Data Protection Act grants data subjects the opportunity to exercise certain rights in accordance with art. 7 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003. The entire text of which is enclosed.

Art. 7 (Right to access personal data and other rights)

1. The data subject has the right to know if data is being held about him, even if these have not yet been stored, and he has the right to information in an intelligible form.

2. The data subject has the right to know:

a) the source of the personal data;

b) the grounds and purpose for processing them;

c) the logic applied in the case of data processing with the aid of electronic instruments;

d) information about the holders and his obligations relating to the processing according to article 5, point 2;

e) the entities and categories of entity to which these data may be communicated or who could come into contact with the information being thecompany representative in the State territory.

3. The data subject has the right to:

a) update, rectify or, if necessary, to complete the data;

b) request that the data be erased, or converted to anonymous data or blocked in the event that their processing contravenes statutory provisions. He has the right to object to the processing of his data if data is used for purposes other than those specified;

c) request a declaration that the operations in a) and b) have been communicated to other parties that have come into contact with the data following communication or diffusion of the personal data, unless such an operation is impossible to carry out or involves the use of means that are clearly out of proportion as compared with the subject’s right.

4. The subject has the right to object, in full or in part:

a) on legitimate grounds to the processing of his data, even if they are pertaining to the purpose of the collection;

b) to the processing of his personal data for purposes of sending of advertising material, direct selling or market research or for purposes of commercial communication.”

Use of cookies:    

As occurs in most web-sites, www.valsir.it may collect information specific to the navigation of your computer when you visit our web-site for purely statistical purposes. The collection of such information is possible thanks to the use of so-called cookies. A "cookie" is a small data file that is transferred to the hard disk of the computer when an Internet web-site is accessed.
