For Valsir its home roots have also been of great importance. Mountain sports therefore, and the local athletes that represent us around the world, could not be left out.
In particular, Valsir supports the adventurous expeditions of Roberto Manni, mountaineer and alpine guide that climbed Mount Everest in 2008. This represented the first time Everest was climbed without the aid of oxygen. Roberto is not new to this type of extreme sport. In recent years he also took part in expeditions to Patagonia and the Himalayas.
Another athlete from Brescia that proudly brings the Valsir name around the world is Dino Melzani, that successfully participates in world mountain running, always finishing up front.
