Valsir has always been committed to the principles of increasing the level of quality and has implemented the UNI EN ISO 9001/2008 Quality System within the Company's Operating Units. Det Norske Veritas (DNV) certified this system in the spring of 2001: Valsir was among one of the first companies in the sector to obtain this type of certification. The recent regulations known as "Vision 2000" have further enhanced all the processes that contribute to achieving complete Customer Satisfaction, by stimulating every human resource working within Valsir so that the objectives for improvement are shared and achieved. A mention must be made of the significant number of worldwide type approval certifications which have been obtained for the products (now 135 at 31/05/2010).

 

Valsir has a laboratory in which all the tests necessary to certify the products are performed. There is a metrological room for dimensional testing and valuation of the mechanical characteristics of the articles. All the tests established in the reference regulations for the products and the test protocols foreseen by the major European laboratories are performed in this laboratory. Moreover, tests are performed in conditions that far exceed the parameters foreseen by the regulations during the research and development stage of the products. The audit of the operating processes, the tests on the raw materials, the laboratory analyses, the stress tests, the installation simulations, the periodic departmental meetings, the refresher courses, the technological investments, these and other actions all represent the day-to-day activities and give an idea of the know-how gained by Valsir.
