The training and communication activity with professional categories and in collaboration with AICARR (Italian Association for Air-Conditioning, Heating and Cooling) started by the Valsir S.p.A. Project Design Office is still in full strength.
The numerous meetings held throughout the country were met with strong interest by the participants, above all thanks to the subjects under discussion: radiant heating/cooling systems and soundproof waste systems.
During the meetings dedicated to radiant heating and cooling systems themes such as thermo-hygrometric comfort and energy saving are dealt with, the project limits set by the European Standard UNI EN 1264 and the requirements requested in the production of the components are analysed.
But the subject that without doubt meets with most interest is the soundproof waste system. The standard (D.P.C.M. 5/12/1997) that establishes the acoustic requirements in buildings and their systems has already entered our daily lives. Manufacturers, project designers and plumbers must respect this new reality, especially concerning the creation of waste systems, where this particular problem is often overlooked. Our meetings are held with the aim of dealing with these subjects in depth, analysing the design, calculation and verification methods according to the European Standards UNI EN 12056 and the methods utilised for measuring the soundproof characteristics of the products destined for use in the systems in compliance with the German Standard DIN 4109 and the European Standard UNI EN 14366.
